August 7, 2019

Where’s the fall foliage capital of the U.S.?  Those of us in Waterville Valley would like to think that our little Valley is!  USA Today is asking its readers to vote on the Best Destination for Fall Foliage.  The White Mountains of New Hampshire is currently in the #2 position, trailing behind #1, Door County, Wisconsin.  (Door County, Wisconsin? Where IS that?!)

Come on, faithful readers and lovers of the White Mountains … click on the link below and vote for the White Mountains.  It’s quick and easy. You don’t have to enter any personal information.  You can vote every single day.  Not that I want to encourage cheating (ahem), but I inadvertently discovered that you can also vote every day using different browsers. Maybe that’s what everyone in Door County, Wisconsin is doing.

The way I look at it, a vote for the White Mountains is a vote for Waterville Valley. Let’s encourage folks to visit the fall foliage capital of the U.S., Waterville Valley.  It’s good for our local businesses.  It’s good for the New Hampshire economy.
