Waterville Valley Elementary School is offering a month-long Summer Enrichment Program for children ages 5-14 in July, 2019. The goal of this new program is to provide opportunities to enrich and expand children’s knowledge through fun, hands-on activities in an exploratory environment.
The Summer Enrichment Program is open to all children (don’t have to be Waterville Valley students!) from Kindergarten through eighth grade and will be offered on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from July 8- August 2, 8-10 a.m. Children can attend any days they and their parents choose. The school will work in conjunction with Waterville Valley’s Recreation Department to assist those children who are also taking part in the summer day camp program.
Each day of the week will feature a different enrichment program.
Mondays: Math Day (games, puzzles, contests)
Tuesdays: Technology Tuesday (coding, virtual field trips, movie projects, trailers)
Thursdays: Reading Enrichment (poetry, books, literature writing, thematic units)
Fridays: STEAM (stem related projects, building bridges, structures, science, art, makerspace)
Waterville Valley Taxpayer Tuition: $20 per week for all four days, $7 per day
Non-Taxpayer Tuition: $25 per week for all four days, $10 per day
