Waterville to offer bus pass to Plymouth State students

October 19, 2013

Like the “snow trains” of yesteryear, Waterville Valley Resort will be providing transportation to and from Plymouth State University this ski season.

Waterville Valley Resort has created a new Plymouth State University (PSU) Bus Pass that will provide transportation seven days a week for PSU students from Plymouth to Waterville Valley. Combined with the new 4-NH College Pass, students will have unlimited skiing and riding on 284 trails, 41 lifts, 1,148 acres and 13 terrain parks in New Hampshire.

PSU students can purchase the bus pass for just $30. The pass allows full access to bus transportation twice daily from Plymouth to the Waterville Valley Resort ski area.  Both morning and afternoon shuttles are offered to accommodate busy college schedules.  “This is the perfect way for Plymouth students to ski and ride all winter AND make it to all their classes!” says Kelsey Chaon, Events Coordinator.

Waterville Valley’s Shuss Bus will pick up and drop off at the Plymouth Concord Coach Lines stop located on the downtown Plymouth circle. Midweek morning shuttles pick up in Plymouth at 7:30 a.m. with a return trip from the mountain leaving at 11:45 a.m., picking up again at 12:30 p.m. in Plymouth, and a final return leaving Waterville Valley at 4:30 p.m.  Weekend morning Plymouth pickup is at 6:30 a.m. with afternoon shuttles remaining the same.  Approximate travel time between Plymouth and Waterville Valley is 30 minutes.

Waterville Valley Resort representatives will be on the PSU campus in October selling both the $30 Shuss Bus pass and a special rated 4-NH College Passes.  The 4-NH College Pass offers the most skiing and riding in New Hampshire with unlimited access to Waterville Valley Resort, Cannon Mountain, Cranmore and Bretton Woods.

The 4-NH College Pass or bus pass can be purchased anytime on for $319 (price valid until November 30th).  For an upfront combined price of $349, PSU students ski and ride every day without paying another dime!
