The Waterville Valley Board of Selectmen are hosting a public meeting tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 21, starting at 6 p.m. at the Waterville Valley Recreation Department. The Selectmen will be reviewing the fiscal year budget and warrant articles and public input is welcomed. You do NOT have to be a registered voter — ALL are invited.
You can find copies of the proposed FY 2018 budget and bond information at the Town Office (off Tripoli Road) and posted on the Town’s website.
There’s one particular warrant article that I think deserves voter support. Read my thoughts here. If you have questions about this particular warrant article, or anything else in the Town’s proposed budget, go to the budget workshop tonight and ask and discuss. There’s nothing worse than someone who doesn’t participate in the decision-making process, making judgments about it after the fact.
