Waterville Valley Businesses: Spring Hours

The ski area extended its season through this Sunday, April 14, but a number of local businesses are moving into mud season mode with reduced hours and/or seasonal closings.

Here’s a partial list of SPRING HOURS.  Keep in mind that it’s always a good idea to call ahead to confirm hours.

1829 Outfitters
Friday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m to 4 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Blue Moon Cafe – 236-4021
Closed – Reopens April 20

Bookmonger/Toad Hall
Through April 15, Open Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pools and workout facilities close half an hour before club closes
As part of the Summer Unlimited Program
Guests staying at participating Summer Unlimited lodging properties may play one hour of tennis on the indoor courts at the White Mountain Athletic Club. Rental racquets and a can of balls are included.  Guests play on a first come, first served basis (NO advance reservations will be accepted).  The indoor tennis program will continue until we have servicable outdoor courts available (usually mid-may).

Campton/Thornton Restaurants
~Woodpecker Pub:  Closed Sundays-Mondays. Open 4-9 Tuesday-Thursday. 11:30-9pm Friday & Sat (bar until 12am).
~Stix:  6 days a week, closed Wednesdays until Memorial Day weekend, then open 7 days a week from 7am -2 pm.
~Sunset Grill:  11:30am – 10pm 6 days a week (closed Mondays). Sundays — brunch 9am – 2pm; open until 10pm.
~Mad River Tavern:  7 days a week 11:30am – 9:30pm, bar open till 10pm.
~Tells of Waterville:  Dinner 7 nights a week, open at 4. Lunch served too, Fri, Sat, Sun, open at noon.
