Waterville Valley to host 2012 Adaptive Alpine National Championship Ski Races

December 21, 2011

The U.S. Olympic Committee has selected Waterville Valley Resort to host the 2012 adaptive alpine national championship ski races.  The four-day event will be held January 10-13, 2012.

The adaptive alpine national championship races were held in Alaska this year.  The event draws the top echelon of disabled ski racers from the United States and around the world.

In 2012, Waterville Valley’s 4,000-foot ski area will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of its own adaptive snow sports program for handicapped athletes in 2012.
