Watervillians have one thing in common
In the mid-80s my husband and I spent a winter traveling around Austria and Switzerland. We vacationed at several major ski resorts, including St. Anton and Lech. These resorts were stunningly beautiful, but they were also uber expensive and stuffy, and their exclusiveness left us feeling like the proverbial ugly American tourists. Needless to say, we didn’t go to bed at night dreaming of buying a vacation chalet in any of those ritzy resorts.
Here in Waterville Valley we have just enough glitz to provide great wine, delicate pastries, rich cappuccino and espresso, and the occasional “celebrity” sighting without distracting from the tremendous magnetism of the mountains.
Other resorts may wax eloquently about amenities, prestige and exclusivity. Here in Waterville Valley we take pride in being New Englanders to the core with our love of nature and outdoor sports, our commitment to family, tradition and community.
The person sitting next to you on the chairlift could be an international bestselling author or a firefighter from Reading, Mass. Your fellow winter hiker is just as likely to be a top-level attorney as a ski bum.
Waterville Valley real estate reflects our diversity, too. We have vacation and primary home options that range from a $1.7 million home atop Cascade Ridge to condominium lodge units at the Black Bear & Golden Eagle Lodges priced from $77,900…and everything in between. In Waterville Valley, there is a home for every budget and lifestyle.
Tis the season to dream…of owning your own piece of paradise. Waterville Valley Realty can help make that dream come true. Give our team a call at 603-236-8333, or stop by our real estate resource center at the entrance to the resort village.
