Yoga Workshops

April 5, 2018

My friend Helen Rita is offering private yoga workshops for sensory awareness training. Her schedule is flexible and she’s available when YOU are. All you need to do is contact her in advance by calling 603-960-1470 or emailing helenyoga@roadrunner.com.

Workshop Objectives

  • Learn small, slow, soft movements to take you to a state of calm
  • Open your joint spaces and build sensory-motor awareness
  • Discover your healing potential by learning new moves
  • Relax with Tibetan singing bowl, therapeutic sound and aromatherapy

Helen’s classes are for all levels.  You don’t have to be the super-flexible yoga image that you see in social media.

What to Expect

Helen’s somatic workshops train our breath, movement, gazing (drsti), sensing, and intuition.  You will start off with 15 minutes of meditation, followed by small, vinyasa movements that are done lying down before coming up on your feet.  On your feet, you will do a short, vinyasa flow to heat up, then return to the floor for yin stretching with long holds.  Blocks, blankets, bolsters, and straps are optional, and you’ll receive personal assistance for set-up in restorative postures.  The session lasts approximately an hour and 45 minutes.  You’ll lose track of time without doubt!

Helen’s private workshops are available by appointment for individuals and groups and located in a fully equipped yoga studio located in Waterville Valley’s Town Square.  The studio space is full of natural sunlight and very conducive to relaxing, restoring and rejuvenating.

Call or text Helen at 603-960-1470 for your preferred times and for pricing information. Helen is available on weekends!
