Your Waterville Valley Homework Assignment

November 28, 2017

Were you at Waterville Valley’s Welcome Back to Winter Party last Friday night?  It was awesome.  Really.  A standing room only crowd mingled, sipped and munched at the Waterville Valley Conference Center.

Waterville Valley’s CEO (and New Hampshire’s former Governor) John H. Sununu took the stage to welcome everyone to the 2017/18 snowriding season.  He gave an inspiring speech that was met with lots of applause.  But he got serious, too.

The Governor asked us – all of us – to work on a very important homework assignment this winter.

Tell our friends, family and coworkers about Waterville Valley.

On Nov. 20, I posted Why Watch Waterville Valley This Season.”  The Governor reminded everyone in attendance that as Waterville Valley Resort is investing millions of dollars into expansion, upgrades and a massive resort-wide, multi-year improvement plan, we have to do our part, too.

All of us need to shout out our love for Waterville Valley from the rooftops.  We have to encourage, cajole and coerce our circle of friends to visit Waterville Valley and experience first-hand the resort’s progression to the #nextlevel.

It’s up to us, Waterville Valley’s biggest fans, to become part of the resort’s marketing team.

We can no longer think of Waterville Valley as our little secret.  Our own private ski resort.  We have to share Waterville with the world in order for the resort to see a return on its investment and continue investing in our valley.

C’mon friends, family and colleagues.  Visit Waterville Valley.  Ski, snowboard, fat bike, snowshoe, shop, dine, rent, buy, golf, play tennis, hike, cycle, swim, fish, canoe, kayak, participate, play and get involved.  And friends, please tell YOUR friends.  Let’s make this a grassroots marketing campaign to keep us moving up to the #nextlevel.
